chef is the best movie we’ve seen in a long time.
john favreau really outdid himself with this one. the guy wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the film. favreau plays a chef who suddenly quits his job in a stuffy restaurant, gets a food truck and reshapes his life. there’s father son bonding. there are funny lines. there’s a lot of food porn. i laughed out loud and sobbed into my napkin more than i’d like to admit. rotten tomatoes gives it an 88%. it has sofia vergara and scarlett johansson in it. if it still doesn’t sound like something you’d be interested in, maybe we shouldn’t be friends.
