our holiday card was a little extra merry this year, thanks to the little who will be joining us in just a few weeks!
i love sending — and receiving — mail. it’s something so few people do these days, that even the simplest note makes such a big impact! when steven and i were long distance for a year, we sent each other mail all the time. i try hard now to make time to send long distance friends notes from time to time. all of that to say, i love snail mail, which makes the holiday season even more exciting. getting notes and cards and pictures from friends from all over is so fun. i save them all every year. i have this idea that one day in 10 or 20 years, i’ll bind all the holiday cards friends have sent us, and send it back to them as a fun gift. hopefully i’ll remember where i put them ; )
anyway. if you’re looking for a great quality (and cheap!) company to order your next batch of cards from, check out photo affections. i uploaded my own design and they were printed and delivered so quickly. plus, they were a good 40% less expensive than minted and tinyprints, even with a promocode from those other places.
