annapolis boats show

wait. there are people who didn’t spend their weekend on million dollar sailboats?

so last year, our friends bill — who has amazing taste in just about everything, and had curated a home full of gorgeous furniture and decor — got rid of everything he owned and bought a sailboat. that he lives on.

he’s long professed himself as someone without attachment to any material item, and he has totally proved it. he grew up on a boat, so it makes sense that he would be living on one now. and it just so happened that steven and i live about 40 minutes from the world’s largest sailboat show. so, when the time came, bill and his mother, martha jo, came to town and we toured some of the most luxe boats on the water.

we had a lot of fun, ate too many hot dogs and took our shoes on and off about a thousand times. almost every single boat we stepped (bare) foot on was exponentially more glamorous than our own home, which, by the way, i think is pretty darn nice.
