thanks to facebook and instagram, we’re super good at saving memories in the moment these days. i’m pretty good at taking time to take nice photos of mila and mila + seven… but as someone who loves and appreciates photography, i was feeling super bummed that i really only had iphone photos of the two of us, and absolutely no photos of us as a family of three.
luckily, our friend and neighbor kelci (of kelci alone photography) is the best. not only is she the most fun lunch date, workout partner and creative counterpart — she’s a brilliant photographer. i like to think i’m pretty good at picking friends.
steven and i both feel like this is the most natural and happy we’ve ever looked in photos. Â neither of us feel like we look awkward in a single image — which is shocking because we’re usually pretty awkward, whether a camera is out or not.
narrowing down a few favorites for this post was so hard. i love every single photo.
i can’t wait for kelci to help document our family forever!
